Anantha Ram Sharma has done his MSc.Tech (Engineering Physics) which specializes in the physics of all the branches of engineering. He has done his project - "A PROBE TO MEASURE ATMOSPHERIC TEMPERATURE" in "VIKRAM SARABHAI SPACE CENTRE", ISRO in the year 2000. It was a dream project of Dr.Sreedharan (DIRECTOR OF SPACE PHYSICS LABORATORY, VSSC, ISRO).
He has established Sharmas Physics Classes in the year 2011 with an intension to spread the knowledge of physics and help the students to break the physics phobia. He has been in personal contact with his students not only during lectures but also (perhaps) even more importantly at exercises, consultations and examinations. These fruitful contacts helped him to refine and improve the exposition of various topics in the course.
The subject acquired by him is a result of Twenty Six years of extensive work in general physics. He mainly devote to explain the meaning of physical laws by showing how to apply them consciously. What he tries to achieve is a deep understanding of fundamental principles of physics rather than a shallower acquaintance with a wide range of questions.
Learning is not measured by reproduction of text from a syllabus;rather the focus is on innovation, connecting knowledge in new ways and creativity. Therefore, we present physics not as a science for "cramming", not as certain volume of information to be memorized but as a clever, logical and attractive science.
Our Physical meetings -classroom training are just not monologue. We emphasize on interaction through dialogue, discussion and mentoring. We understand that supporting the students’ learning processes is more than just a question of pedagogy. To ensure this we take less students in each batch. We also deal with Online training besides the traditional physical meeting because digital technologies provide flexibility for time and space. They reduce geographical barriers. We provide immediate analysis of student performance and also provide individual counseling sessions.
Most of the present education institutes/coaching centers show less focus on making students to understand basic concepts and pay more attention in cracking IIT entrance exam by cramming.Hence, IIT exam has become a test of memory rather than a test for students actual potential and skill.
